Last weekend Zelda Kenney Benson and I (Pat Kiernan Weber) put together a BBQ/Pot Luck for a few members of our class. Even though there were only 15 or so we all had a great time and vowed to try and find more members of our class for a celebration of our 60th (OMG) birthday. We came up with the weekend of June 29th, 30th & July 1st 2012 for the dates. It will be in Yorba Linda and, like the recent event everyone enjoyed so much, will be very casual . . no fancy dresses, no sequins, no tuxedos . . . just us in jeans and flip flops getting reacquained after 42 years! There is a facebook page for our class - La Serna High Class of 1970 (group) - and I have an e-mail address also for our class - laserna70@gmail.com. I am gathering contact information so if you'd like to be included in the "database" please send me an e-mail and I'll forward the info sheet we passed out. I'll be updating it periodically and e-mailing it to everyone.
I've attached photos form last Saturday's event that was in Zelda's wonderful backyard and I'm sure we'll be adding more! I also have the photos from the reunion books (thank you Denise Moore Haley) from the 10th, 20th & 30th reunions that I'll be loading sometime in the near future. Anyway . . hope to get this blog going and find more of our classmates. Please share any of this information with fellow classmates so we can have a great turnout in 2012!
